Leadership theory asserts that transformational leadership behaviors lead to positive organizational outcomes: organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and productivity. Some leadership scholars assert that transformational leadership behaviors would be particularly effective within the Financial Services Industry. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of five specific transformational leadership behaviors (independent variables) practiced by directors at an Investment Services Company with follower: (a) organizational commitment, (b) job satisfaction, and (c) productivity (dependent variables). The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) was used to measure the five specific transformational leadership behaviors: (a) models the way, (b) inspires a shared vision, (c) challenges the process, (d) enables others to act, and (e) encourages the heart. Questionnaires were completed by 23 directors and 251 employees who fell under the responsibility of these directorates at the organization. The analysis showed "challenges the process" was the predominant transformational leadership behavior practiced by directors at the company. Relationships between variables ranged from moderately weak to moderate. A t-test indicated "enables others to act" had an individual significant effect on job satisfaction.;Keywords: leadership, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, productivity.
