Single switch-dual output DC-DC converter.

摘要

This dissertation proposes a new dc-dc converter to provide two independently regulated dc outputs from a single dc voltage source using one power semiconductor switch. The operation is based upon the use of a low pass filter and a higher frequency band pass filter. The output voltage supplied from the low pass filter is regulated by controlling the duty cycle of the switch, while the other output voltage is controlled by changing the switching frequency.;The state space averaged model is used to predict the circuit behavior. In addition, computer simulation is employed to confirm the theoretical results. Finally, an experimental model is constructed and implemented using an Intel 8096 microcontroller to demonstrate the actual circuit performance and to confirm the theoretical and simulation results.
