The fillet assembly project for tri-jet aircraft.

摘要

The purpose of this study was to research, analyze, and identify manufacturing constraints and to develop a procedure to eliminate or minimized the constraints involved with the manufacturing assembly of the fillet panel section of a commercial aircraft. The investigation recommended some adjustments in the production line, alternative holding and clamping tools, and improvement in communication with vendors. There were recommendations to improve employee communications concerning safety factors.
