Aspects of an Environmental Impact Assessment for a Potential Uranium Mine in the Canaan-Washademoak Watershed.

This research project follows the initial stages of New Brunswick's environmental impact assessment (EIA) methodology as it pertains to potential uranium mining in the Canaan-Washademoak watershed (CWW) in south central New Brunswick. This includes providing a project description of a uranium mine in the watershed and an explanation of the existing environment within the watershed. In addition, potential stakeholders, valued environmental components (VECs) and their associated impact pathways and mitigative measures will be outlined and an environmental constraint list will be presented.
