Service learning educational experiences and their influence on selected student attitudes and achievement (as identified in the title) were studied through the use of academic records for various sample subjects, aggregate historical data of two other sample populations, and the results of two survey instruments which were administered separately to students in grade eight (8) and students in grades 9--12. These instruments were the pre-experience and post-experience administration of the School Attitude Measure (SAM) and an original Overall Post-Experience Evaluation.;The collected data from these sample populations of Avon Lake City School Students were analyzed or discarded due to significance issues through the use of multiple regression formulas, t-tests, correlation coefficients, grade point averages (GPA) and ranges.;One primary conclusion has been drawn from this analysis of these various statistical measurements of this data. This conclusion is there is a significant statistical, but small educational relationship between some of these identified factors in this research study.
