Readership satisfaction of sports coverage in South Korea's four national daily newspapers.

he general problem was to analyze the differences between actual sports coverage and desired sports coverage in the four national daily newspapers in the Republic of Korea. The sample for the survey analysis consisted of a total of 560 subscribers, with 140 subjects randomly chosen from each of the four national daily newspapers. The questionnaire items consisted of 33 items and the survey was administered during October, 1997. The ANOVA and the Duncan Multiple Range Test was used as the post-hoc test to determine statistical significance among the means. Statistical significance was accepted at the p < .05 level.;Data analysis indicated most of the readers were in the 30 and 40 years old age groups.
