Test series 1. The purpose of this test series was to investigate the role of cement content on the relative strength performance of a candidate pastefill consolidated with varying ratios of NPC and ground post-consumer waste glass with a control candidate pastefill consolidated with NPC only.;Test series 2. The purpose of this test series was to investigate if differences in glass type affected the performance of candidate NPC/glass consolidated pastefills. A suite of four different glass blends were tested including plate glass, container glass, automotive windshield glass and a 1:1:1 mix of the former three glasses.;Test series 3. The purpose of this test series was to investigate if changes in glass specific surface area over a range of 3600cm 2/g to 9900cm2/g affected the strength benefaction of candidate NPC/glass consolidated pastefills.;Test series 4. The purpose of test series 4 was to investigate if substitutions of Ca(OH)2 for NPC in NPC/glass consolidated pastefill could be used as a means of increasing strength.;Test series 5. The purpose of test series 5 was to investigate whether the strength deterioration experienced in NPC consolidated pastefills incorporating sulphides could be arrested by the application of NPC/glass cements consolidated pastefills by arresting the sulphide oxidation attack.
