Social/legal aspects of an agriculture compatible with the natural environment.

First of all, the aim of this thesis is to analyze the concept of rural space and natural environment, standing out the importance of the farmer in its defence and improvement.;In this way, we refer to the outline of agrarian legislation in relation to the environment as the quality of life, the rights of human beings to use the natural resources reasonably, or the needs of keeping a suitable vegetable covering.;Secondly, we try to provide a concept of rural space by analyzing the causes of its crisis and to approach its future.;Immediately after, we achieved a study about the Spanish regulations between agriculture and environment, pointing up the article 45 of the Spanish Constitution that underlines that everyone has the right to enjoy a suitable environment to evolve and the obligation to conserve it.;Subsequently, we briefly studied the autonomous legislations about the natural environment and its linking to agriculture, standing out the rational use and the defence of the natural resources plus the scenery as a conclusion pointing to the sustenance of the genetics diversity and capacity of feedback and regeneration of the ecosystem always avoiding the irreversible damages to the ecological balance and contributing to human health protection and species preservation.;We did not want to forget the integration of the European legislation into the Spanish law pointing out the protection of the rural areas and the role of the farmer as a countryside ranger. So, we can affirm that the European Union tries to make compatible the agriculture production with the conservation of natural areas through cultural practices similar to the environment where is developing.;Finally, we would like to point out the respect of the environment within a profitable agriculture and a viable rural development betting on integrated agriculture within its environment.
