Pastoral care: How to motivate African American pastors and ministers to take clinical pastoral education (CPE).

There will be an increase in interest in taking Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) as a result of the knowledge introduced to African American male pastors and ministers. The ministry design was both qualitative and quantitative. Its purpose was to gather data from interviews, seminar, and case studies to determine the level of knowledge regarding Clinical Pastoral Education before and after the presentation of information. The data was compared for similarities and contrasted to determine the degree of acquired knowledge. The results indicated significant change in knowledge and interest of African American Pastors and ministers.
