摘要

Cement quality is an imperative condition of the activities of a cement factory. However, the choices of raw materials and fuels (inputs) to meet the cement quality are multiple and the determination of the best solution must be carried out in accordance with environmental regulations while minimizing the costs and respecting the criteria of process operation. The development of an integrated approach to support the quality control, the evaluation of the environmental incidences and the forecast of the economic repercussions thus allows the cement factory to anticipate the impacts while minimizing the risks of a real scale demonstration project in the cement factory.; The development of the integrated approach is based on the industrial ecology principles considering: (1) the manufacturing process of cement like a flow system of matters, energy and emissions; (2) the effects of these flows on the environment; (3) the economic and legal parameters.
