New intelligent system for data compression in wireless ATM.

摘要

The transfer of information has been increasing exponentially since the last few years. Along with the increase in transfer of data over wired media, there is a tremendous growth in transfer of data over the wireless channel. There needs to be a system to solve the critical problem of transmitting all the data formats with high speed and with desired reliability. The approach suggested in this thesis dissertation is unique and aims compressing data by pre-selecting a compression algorithm based on the structure of data from existing database of algorithms. The selection of compression algorithms depends on the structure of data that need to be compressed, owing to the fact that a particular compression algorithm works efficiently on a data of particular structure.
