The purpose of this study was to determine in what manner eleven individual schools in Wyoming utilize the resources provided to them by the 2005 Recalibration of the Wyoming Resource Block Grant Education Funding Model. Specifically, eleven schools in Wyoming were investigated to determine the alignment between school resource use and instructional strategies reported by the school.;The eleven schools investigated by this study reported forty different instructional strategies within the ten elements. Sixteen common instructional strategies were reported by all schools and indicate alignment between schools in the instructional strategies utilized. The schools exhibited a moderately high or high positive relationship between the level of school resources and the number of instructional strategies reported by the school. Significant positive relationships were found between the number of certified staff employed by the school and the number of instructional strategies reported by the school, and between the number of non-certified staff employed by the school and the number of instructional strategies reported by the school. However, there was almost no relationship between the total number of staff and the number of instructional strategies reported by the school. There was very little or no relationship between student achievement on the PAWS test and the number of instructional strategies reported used by a school.
