For years, the increasing complexity of human activities has forced an increase in specialization levels. In spite of this, Mining Engineering offers two specialization areas, Mining and Mineral Processing (Milling). The first one focused on exploration, planning, geomechanics and mine design, the second one focused on the plant design and plant operation.; However, in practice the division continues. Indeed, mining and milling behave like two separate areas, developing, designing and optimizing in an independent way. The only contact between the two areas is through discrete data.; The following work is the result of two years of consulting work and one year of academic research, where the objective has been to integrate milling variables into the mine planning.
