摘要

The purpose of this research was to assist a large pan-Canadian retail company to gain knowledge about how to use distributed learning in the context of new employee orientation. The research project investigated ways in which the principles of distributed learning could be applied to specific learning needs identified by new employees within this company. The findings provide guidance on how to effectively design a new employee orientation program using both face-to-face and distributed learning delivery components, within a geographically-dispersed organization.
