Variety is the spice of poetry. Perhaps you will find that these poems---of varying lengths, forms, tones, and levels of seriousness and humor---hold a Zippo lighter to the un-ignited wick of your soul. Perhaps you will be baffled by the assured quixotica of their linguistic labyrinths. You are more than welcome to select either of these options or come up with your own; I suppose the only thing that I can ask is that you approach them with an open mind. I hope that this collection, as it has been meticulously arranged, will allow the reader to glimpse a small sliver of what interests me and what I found important enough to write about. Life is boring enough---why write boring poetry? Why not find something about which to be enthusiastic, and fling eargasmic words around like sexy confetti? This, dear readers, is what I have tried to achieve.
