摘要

Laboratory experiments have been conducted on five light reservoir oils with CO2 to determine influential miscibility parameters of those reservoir oils. Slim tube, swelling test, solid detection and viscosity experiments have been conducted to measure MMP, swelling factor, asphaltene precipitation onset and viscosity of those reservoir oils with CO2 respectively. MMP, swelling factor and viscosity of the light reservoir oils with CO 2 have been predicted using MMP correlations, PVTsim package and oil viscosity correlations respectively. The measured influential miscibility parameters have been compared to the predicted values to evaluate the correlations and PVTsim package in predicting influential miscibility parameters of light oil with CO2.;Light oil reservoirs are good candidate for CO2 miscible flooding. The following correlations were recommended: Yellig & Metcalfe for MMP correlation, Khan et al. for saturated viscosity and Al-Marhoun for undersaturated viscosity.
