Vuelta: Three compositions concerning the non-apparent.

This project is a reflection on the imperceptible in music focused through the lens of composition. It consists of three compositions: replica, for viola and percussion, contra-replica , for viola, snare drums and electronics, and parte, for two pianos tuned with a difference of a quarter tone. Just as time is not directly perceived by any of the senses, what composition concerned with the imperceptible can bring about is something beyond what is merely apprehended by the ear. If the imperceptible is that which, continuously eluding us, remains unknown, we can perhaps still encounter and get to know it in music.
