In 2010 around 1in 8 people in US were diagnose with cancer. Biopsy is used to diagnose cancer. It is a procedure that involves removing of sample tissue from living body to check if it is cancerous. Extracting a tissue is the biggest challenge for physician, as most of the medical images taken for a particular organ are offline. We provide a framework to handle this issue during tissue extraction procedure. The goal of the framework is to provide guidance to the physician to perform biopsy using better visualization, more accuracy and with less fatigue. The framework supports data from different types of imaging devices. The tactile feedback enhances the experience of physicians performing the biopsy. Haptic enabled biopsy needle will give force feedback to the physician if s/he is varying away from its path. Also force feedback is given depending on tissue density calculated by the framework. It has capability to support multiple haptic devices. The same toolkit can be used for training a novice physician to gain experience in performing biopsies. The framework also introduces a protocol to facilitate simultaneous training for multiple candidates.
