This research study examined the prevalence and impact of sexist discrimination upon women managers currently working in a business trade association. The target population used for this study is women managers and leaders listed in the business section of the Associations Yellow Book Leadership Directory (2004). A total of 32 participants responded from a single probability sample. Participants were provided a consent form detailing confidentiality and the purpose of the study. Female participants were asked to complete the Schedule of Sexist Events (Klonoff & Landrine, 1995), a survey that included a subjective measurement of the experience of sexism; and a demographic questionnaire.
