In this thesis, we develop a game theoretic framework with the central resource controller (service provider) and the different users as the players of the game. Game theoretic formulation being attractive in the context of current competitive networks over traditional control theoretic formulation, has been the preferred choice for network providers. Service provider wishes to maximize its revenue while the user requires as much bandwidth as possible. Users are neither aware of each others' request nor the service provider's state. This conflict of interests lay the basis for the formation of non-cooperative, non-zero sum games between the service provider and the different users. The service provider's strategy is governed by the revenue maximization, yet considering the user's churn rate (probability of users leaving the network), while the user's strategy to leave or stay with the current network depends on its satisfaction level offered by the network.
