摘要

Since the start of the usage of Electromagnetic spectrum for communications, the radio antennas have become an essential part of communications. They enable the radiation and reception of radio waves. This research aims at a design of an electrically short wire antenna with increased efficiency. The electrically short antennas are generally not preferable for communications because of the reason that they possess high reactance with a small radiation resistance. This paper is an attempt to explore novel wire antenna topologies to achieve high radiation resistance accompanied by a low Q factor. Hence, construction of electrically small antennas would help reduce the bulky space occupied by the antennas and the expense. The performance of the proposed antenna is being tested using Numerical Electromagnetics Code (NEC 2++).
