Simulation of mobile treatment monitoring system.

摘要

Noncompliance is the main reason for treatment failure. Approximately 50 to 75% of patients misuse their medication due to forgetfulness and busy schedule. Instead of heavily depending on patient's memory for following medication deadlines, we propose a new automated medication helper called "Mobile Treatment Monitoring System" to help patients take their medication on time.;Among other technologies that help patients to follow up their medication such as Pill Organizers, Medication Reminders, and Pill Dispensers, using remote treatment monitoring system appears to be a promising technology because system creates a direct link between doctor and patient so doctor will be notified for any noncompliance and misuse of medication.
