摘要

The objective of this investigation was to build a tool to support developers in three major areas: in the construction of a prototype, in the development of user tests, and in the capturing of data during the user tests. To demonstrate the utility of this tool two approaches were compared: the traditionally used methods of usability tests and usability tests using this tool to support the collection and analysis of usability data. The results showed that with the use of this tool during the evaluation process of the user interface it was easier to identify some usability problems. The use of this tool is useful to evaluators in the creation of user tests, and in the collection and analysis of usability data.
