The Digital Era has helped various aspects of life become easier, especially by making information easily accessible. However, this accessibility leads to false material, leaving the visitor at a disadvantage. The paper and project show that an accurate website can be engaging and entertaining, as well as highlight Hildegard von Bingen (1098- 1179). Students, specifically undergraduate students, can learn and retain information related to a historical subject matter by involving the three learning styles—auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. The paper details how one can take a topic and put it on a site that is conducive to the visitor, however this approach can be used to make websites for other historical figures, events, and concepts. Each chapter deals with the different facets of the site, from an interactive timeline, to games, and why they are beneficial to the visitor. By extracting the most important parts from primary sources and supplementing it with well-known secondary sources, the end advantage of such presentations allow students, faculty, and those who have a natural curiosity in history to receive facts rooted in scholarly work. The website also highlights Hildegard, who has been largely disregarded in academic circles, with the exception of those who have already studied her works.
