Affiliate users policy: Solution to multiple ball field users in the city of Artesia.

The purpose of this project was to develop an affiliate user policy to define criteria which determines the types of user groups which may qualify to use public field space for private use. The policy enables Parks and Recreation Department staff to efficiently and fairly distribute a limited amount of ball field space to multiple users in the City of Artesia, California. This policy can be adopted by the city council and implemented by the Parks and Recreation Department to regulate how and who can utilize ball field space in City parks. The project informs of the importance of managing the allocation of sports field spaces in public recreation. Furthermore, this project provides the necessary tools for staff to effectively manage ball fields at Artesia Park in Artesia, California.
