This study utilized a 3-D seismic volume and 35 wells from three deepwater Gulf of Mexico fields (Cooper GB388, Llano GB386, and Habanero GB341) to determine the time-equivalent sequence stratigraphic framework within a deepwater salt withdrawal mini-basin setting. These fields are located within the central Gulf of Mexico Tabular Salt/Mini-basin Province. The oil and gas reservoirs for each of the Auger (Fisk) Basin fields are Miocene through Pleistocene and were deposited by gravity flow systems.; The results of this study are primarily based upon the interpretation of a post-stack time migrated 3-D geophysical survey (encompassing eight Gulf of Mexico lease blocks or 72 square miles). The study also integrated paleo-tops from six wells which can be used to identify Pliocene and Pleistocene glacio-eustatic cycles. The cycles span the Globoquadrina altispira through Pseudoemiliania lacunosa (3.09 Ma--0.32 Ma) intervals and were correlated to eight positive impedance seismic reflectors.
