The multiuser detection is a signal processing technique which is enhances the performance and capacity in DS-CDMA technology. In search for suboptimal detector there has opened up extensive research window in this area. There have been proposals on linear, nonlinear, adaptive, interference cancellation, blind adaptive and many more hybrid variant models based on all of these detectors. In this paper we have proposed a similar hybrid method called adaptive differential interference cancellation method (ADIC) which is a hybrid of the differential interference cancellation method and which is then combined in a adaptive way to determine a weight matrix which will map the outcome of the differential interference cancellation method to come out with a better performance. In this paper we have implemented a bunch of detection methods covering linear, nonlinear, adaptive, interference cancellation among other to compare and conclude better about the proposed method. We have used two different weight matrices taken from the MMSE method's mapping matrix and from decorrelating methods mapping matrix. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)
