Individual, team, and organization resocialization: The study of one park district's strategic planning process.

The process of socialization has been a subject of research for many years, because it is ongoing process that affects the individual and broader organization. Many works have emerged critiquing methods or tactics of socialization. However, this ethnographic research endeavor observed one organization's self-directed management team built to create and socialize their strategic plan.;Data collected at the Midwest Park District adds to the body of socialization research by uncovering potential barriers to socialization and exploring one team's attempt to socialize a broader organization to their strategic plan document.
