Kant, realism, and anti-realism.

I examine the development of Kant's views on Transcendental Idealism and Empirical Realism from the Critical era Critique of Pure Reason through the post-Critical Opus postumum. I argue that just as Kant's considered position offers a neglected alternative to early modern Rationalism and Empiricism, so too does it offer an alternative to the current debate between metaphysical realists and metaphysical anti-realists as well as the closely related debate between scientific realists and scientific anti-realists.
