The purpose of this research is to contribute to the knowledge of self-leadership theory through an empirical study designed to investigate the correlation of self-leadership as it pertains to effective leadership behaviors. This study posits that self-leadership strategies enhance effective leadership behaviors in an organizational setting. The hypothesis is that self-leadership strategies will enhance the effectiveness of leadership behaviors. Pearson's Product-Moment Correlation is used to determine relationship. ANOVA, multiple regression and F test was used to learn more about the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The data revealed that no relationship exists between self-leadership and effective leadership behaviors, and that they were not significant at p>.05 level.
