Therapeutic community: A history, overview, and critical analysis of the effectiveness research in adolescent and young adult substance abuse.

摘要

This dissertation reviews the available quantitative research on the Therapeutic Community approach to substance abuse treatment for adolescents and young adults. In addition, a history and overview of the approach are provided because many still have misconceptions or a lack of accurate information about the TC methodology.
