Crisis Management at Employee Choice Credit Union: The Importance and Financial Impact.

This project analyzed the relevance of crisis management as it relates to the financial industry, specifically Employee Choice Credit Union, a local financial institution. The paper reviews literature that explains crisis management and structure of credit unions, financial and empirical data on the relevance of establishing crisis management plans, and the steps needed to begin establishing a crisis management strategy. Based on this information, five different types of crises were identified that are crucial for any financial institution to consider when developing contingency plans. Additionally, based on this information strategies are provided to implement crisis management planning at a financial institution.
