A doctoral dissertation directed by Sandra L. Glahn and presented at The University of Texas at Dallas, this volume is a creative dissertation. A novel titled "The Ephesian Fragments" comprises the first three-fourths of the work. The non-fiction portion consists of a scholarly apparatus complementing the story, which contains two non-fiction essays.
