An approach to the teaching of William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' to high school level students.

摘要

The research in this thesis focuses on teaching the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare at the high school level. My approach focuses on a deep exploration into the study of language, an exploration of cultural manifestations as a way to engage students, and the implementation of film to achieve the desired level of learning. The approach also suggests the use of collaborative classroom activities in each of these three areas of study in order to make Macbeth accessible and enjoyable for high school students.
