Coordination advice: Experimental and Russian evidence.

摘要

This dissertation describes the development of advice and chronicles its experimental development and implementation in solving coordination problems. Advice---and its generation by an experimental sorting mechanism---is discussed as an example of one potential solution to the dilemma of multiple equilibrium environments. Following prior research, a way of generating a utility enhancing constraint is found that blocks the lowest equilibrium. In the process of researching and writing this thesis, the author conducted a Russian literature search and conducted four treatments of an experimental advice design. This thesis is slated to be a reference and resource for further research on sorted advice designed for solving coordination problems.
