API: GSM/GPRS modem user interface.

摘要

Make a Windows API for a GSM/GPRS modem user interface. The specific modem is GE863-GPS Module that Telit Communications PLC provides. Develop an interface between the modem and a PC Host so that Cellular based internet connections could be established in order to provide data back haul from mobile/roaming devices to remote servers. Other mobile devices, using the same API, can establish a connection to the remote server to retrieve the data. The goal for this system is to be able to send real time data to a monitoring location in order to provide rescue services. The simulation results showed that this API is very compatible if other users want to access to an internet connection by alike modules.
