Newsprint is a teen that applies to a grade of paper having a basis weight ranging from 40 g/m2 to 59 g/m2, which is used for the printing of newspapers. While the majority of newsprint is consumed by daily newspapers and weekly magazines, it is also used for the printing of leaflets, inserts, supplements in newspapers, and directories.;However, the manufacturing process of paper is interactive, and process adjustments and other perturbations affect several variables at the same time. These perturbations can create headbox variability, which in turn can lead to the enhanced probability of web breaks on the paper machine. The mechanical pulp preserves all the components of the original raw material (the cellulose, the hemicelluloses, and the lignin) and is obtained with a high yield of 95%.
