Statistical factors associated with success among NBA teams in 2004--05.

This action research project examines eleven statistical factors from the NBA 2004-05 season and their association to winning percentage. Analysis of data consisted of descriptive statistics utilizing the Pearson product moment correlation to compare their relationship to winning percentage. The finding of the study revealed that defensive rebounding was the most influential statistical factor in 2004-05. Results of this study provide relevant information for coaches and analysts regarding statistical factors and their association to team success.
