EVAM: Un sistema automatico de evaluacion y presentacion de los conocimientos matematicos.

摘要

This Doctoral Thesis approaches the study of the deficiencies with which many students confront the technical studies in the matters related to the Mathematics.; The principal aim is the design and development of a knowledge based system, EVAM (Automatic Evaluation of Mathematics), which allows to automate the detection of those factors responsible for the deficiencies in the performance of the students and to provide an instrument for the teachers to correct them. The system compiles information on the progress of the students in the process of teaching-learning of a matter and can provide periodic information about the assimilation of every part of the program evaluating concrete aspects of the matter treated to orientate the educational process.; EVAM is a tool of diagnosis prior to educational actions that allows the request of information about concrete aspects of the domain of knowledge (the Mathematics of high technical courses) and the mathematical skills that the student possesses, to store the given information, to decide on the process of requirement of information from the student and to represent and to analyze the obtained results.
