寻找丢失的童年：伊恩·麦克尤恩小说《时间中的孩子》的空间批评研究

摘要

1987年惠特布莱特小说奖获奖作品《时间中的孩子》是英国国民作家伊恩·麦克尤恩创作风格转型期的代表作。自出版以来，国内外学者对其进行了大量研究。然而到目前为止，本论文笔者发现针对该作品的空间批评研究成果并不多。因此笔者认为，从一个崭新的角度研究该作品是有意义的。
　　昂立·列斐伏尔把空间分为三个层次，即物理空间、社会空间和心理空间。本论文将以此作为理论框架，通过对《时间中的孩子》进行文本细读来探讨小说人物在以上三种空间的互相作用及影响下的思想与行为，分析人物怎样寻找丢失的童年，并阐述不同的人生信念与选择将导致相应的人生境遇和结局，从而对人们该以怎样的态度及原则来面对生活中的苦难和逆境，最终回归人性的本真进行总结。《时间中的孩子》体现了麦克尤恩的社会良知和人文关怀，并引发读者对现代人的生存环境和思想状态进行关注。
