英语专业大学生学习策略与英语专业四级成绩的相关性研究

摘要

近年来，随着外语教学研究的重心由教师转移到学生，学习策略特别是学习策略与外语成绩的关系受到了不少国内外研究者的关注。但纵观国内外研究，主要针对非英语专业学生成绩和学习策略的关系。本研究旨在探究英语专业大学生学习策略与英语专业四级成绩的相关性。
　　本研究以天津工业大学英语专业99名学生为研究对象，旨在调查他们语言学习策略使用的总体情况和男女生在学习策略使用上的差异;探究高、中、低分学习者在学习策略使用上的差异以及语言学习策略与英语专业四级成绩的关系。本次研究采用定性和定量研究相结合的方法，即通过问卷调查和访谈收集数据，并借助统计软件SPSS17.0对数据进行分析。研究结果表明:(1)总体来说，英语专业学生对英语学习策略的使用处在中等水平，即“有时使用”。其中，补偿策略、元认知策略、认知策略和社交策略使用频率较高。此外，男女生学习者在这六种策略的使用上并没有显著的差别。(2)关于高、中、低分学习者学习策略使用的差异，高分学习者和低分学习者在学习策略的选择上有显著差异，然而中分学习者和低分学习者在学习策略的使用上没有显著差异。(3)语言学习策略的整体运用与英语专业四级成绩存在显著相关性。
