马建忠善译理论的现代阐释

摘要

目前，越来越多的翻译学家致力于对中国传统译论进行研究和现代阐释，以期对中国翻译学的建立作出贡献。经过翻译界同仁的努力，目前在此领域已取得了较大成就，但仍有一些译论的历史意义和价值有待大家重新认识。马建忠的善译理论就是其中之一，善译理论在很多翻译家的阐述中尽管获得了很高的评价，也得到了较为深刻的研究，但目前的研究尚不系统和全面。 本文将采用逻辑分析、归纳、推理的方法来研究善译理论的内涵、价值以及意义。首先，本文通过对马建忠的教育背景、事业轨迹、思想转变、生平的介绍分析了善译理论的提出之所以历史的落到马建忠身上的原因，并通过对《马氏文通》的分析、归纳揭示了善译的语言学理论基础来源。《马氏文通》中体现出了较为先进的现代语言学，语言分析和语言对比思想，这都在善译理论中得到了应用。善译理论中，马建忠主张对源语和译语在词、句子和风格的层次上进行对比分析。其次，在归纳总结已有研究基础上，本文重点分析了善译理论中体现的具有现代语言学特点的思想和读者反映思想。善译理论中涉及到了语义学、语音学、句法学、文体学、语用学，对比语言学等现代语言学思想，这使善译理论迥然不同于中国传统译论。另外，善译理论明确提出了将读者反映作为衡量翻译好坏的标准，这在中国传统译论中也是首创。同时通过与西方读者反映理论的对比，本文也探讨了善译理论中读者反映论的局限性。 通过以上分析，本文用现代语言学及读者反映论阐释了善译理论在中国翻译史上的开创性和局限性，以期给正在建设中的中国翻译学提供来自传统译论的借鉴。
