基于关联理论的《国际交往中的英语通用语》翻译实践报告

摘要

当今时代，我国与世界各国的学术交流日益频繁。学术文本的语言较为严谨，学术翻译注重系统性、理论性和逻辑性。因此，对于翻译工作者而言，把外文学术文本进行准确得体的翻译就显得尤为重要。 本文是一篇学术文本的翻译实践报告，笔者以关联翻译理论为指导，选取《国际交往中的英语通用语》一书的第五章和第九章进行汉译。为了较好完成翻译任务，笔者首先对该书进行研读，了解本书主要框架和想要表达的内容，然后，就英语通用语、关联翻译理论、学术文本的翻译这三方面阅读了大量文献，加深了对相关领域的了解。在该报告中，笔者明确了明示过程、推理过程、关联性、最佳关联等相关概念，得出该理论给译者翻译学术文本带来的启发，即正确认知语境、寻找和传递最佳关联、注重语境效果。针对在实践中出现的不同翻译问题，笔者根据得出的启发，采取不同的翻译策略，如：增译减译、抽象与具体、词性转化等。 通过此次翻译任务，笔者不断总结经验，在处理实际问题时，能从该理论的角度分析和解决问题，更让笔者对关联翻译理论有更深的认识，也希望能通过此次实践，从关联翻译理论的角度，为翻译工作者翻译学术文本提供参考。
