摘要

本文以中国不同英语水平的学习者为被试,采用横断研究法,在动词中心论和构式中心论两个理论框架的基础上,纳入(名词)功能意义这一语言因素,探索构式和(名词)功能意义在理解英语名转动词句中所发挥的动态作用。研究发现,随着二语水平的提高,学习者从依靠动词过渡到依靠构式来理解名转动词句子。提供(名词)功能意义可以促进初级水平者对英语名转动词句子的理解。相对于初级水平者,(名词)功能意义的提供可以更好地促进依靠构式进行句子理解的中级水平和高级水平者对英语名转动词句的理解。对此,我们进行了相关的理论诠释。
