The formation of hydrogen peroxide in water-alcohol solution of electrolyte under the action ofrnatmospheric pressure glow discharge was under study. H2O2 yield in such plasma-solution systemrnwas shown to be essentially increased by small additions of ethanol or propanol-2 withrnconcentration of 0.01-0.05 mol/l. A correlation was found between alcohol concentration andrnsolution pH value after plasma treatment. Experiments show the chemical composition of gasrnphase and plasma properties change as a result of transfer of alcohol molecules and products ofrntheir oxidation from solution to plasma. It is considered to be one of the possible reasons ofrnincrease of hydrogen peroxide yield in water-alcohol solution under plasma action.
