摘要

Today, many enterprises invest enormous funds and human resources to develop the data warehouse (DW) system, but quite a number of systems can not attain expected benefits. In order to help managers select the best system and efficiently improve the existing projects, it is of significance to evaluate different systems scientifically. Evaluation of the data warehouse systems involving many quantitative and qualitative factors is a complicate work. In this paper, we first establish the hierarchical structure of the evaluation index system for DW, then we use analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to calculate the weight of every index, finally we set up the comprehensive evaluation model based on the fuzzy evaluation theory. The model provides a scientific, practical and quantitative method for the systematic analysis and comprehensive evaluation, and the evaluating results are reasonable.
