摘要

For small and medium enterprises (SMEs), there are many issues to be addressed in order to carry out a successful e-commerce business. Many small and medium enterprises’e-commerce solutions limit their ability to get their expected return of investment, especially in developing countries such as China, as some factors were not considered and handled well.It is very important to do strategic analysis about how to implement e-commerce solution for an SME with limited resources and specific requirements. This paper combines SMEs’requirements and three kinds of e-commerce solution to do a strategic analysis of e-commerce for SME. It will mainly focus on the situation of the Chinese SMEs. By analyzing the common shortages of SME e-commerce platforms, the SMEs’development strategy and the characters of three e-commerce solutions, we want to show some important factors which should be considered when SMEs make decision on carrying e-commerce, and give some suggestion through match analysis between SME’strategy and e-commerce solution.Additionally, we also point out two trends of the SMEs’e-commerce.
