In this paper we describe a research about of the documentation, redesign and updating of the technology used for development of the System for the health sector -SICLHOS (Integral Systematization of Clinics and Hospitals). This process, called "Process of Systems Reengineering", permit that an existent system could take advantage of new technologies. Based on the use of CASE tool in order to produce the Automatization of aspects following: the documentation of the system within a repository of data, the logical redesign, components and their relationships for the adaptation to the change, the incorporation of new requirements and after generation on a new operative platform. The generation of new applications through of the Systems Reengineering allows to confront the problems of the crisis of software, represented in the difficulty of maintenance, the few or no existence of documentation and the excessive employment of resources in order to pay the managerial demands. The purpose of this work is carry out the Process of Systems Reengineering through of the inverse engineering using the CASE DESIGNER/ 2000 tool of Oracle to the SICLHOS system.
