An Approach to Collaborative Design and Intelligent Manufacturing

摘要

This research focuses on one critical issue in the area of design for manufacturing - machining feature-based collaborative design and manufacturing by adopting agent technology. This paper will first describe related research into fundamental requirements, overall configuration, design for manufacturing activities, and then report on available implementation technologies. The focus will be given to the automated CAM processing based on machining features and agent technology.
