With the increasingly ubiquitous nature of social networks and cloud computing, users are starting to explore a new service provision framework, i.e., social cloud, in which services are provisioned amongst users on the premise of the relationships encoded in a social network. On account of the characteristics of a social cloud, a cloud service provision model based on combinatorial reverse auction and critical payment is proposed, not only to enable various kinds of services traded among single consumer and multiple providers at the same time enable task partitioning among multiple providers, but also to encourage providers to bid with their true cost. The simulation results have shown that the proposed model can help minimize consumer's procurement cost at the same time improve the average utilization and task completion rate.
